One of my most vivid memories during the holidays as a kid for me was bundling up and heading out to the tree farm to pick the perfect tree. I remember being surrounded by the variety of trees in all shapes and sizes. But most of all I remember the smell. From all directions you were hit with the fragrances of pine and fresh cut wood. This scent, is that "Christmas tree" smell. Balsam and pine meet the slightest hint of crisp orange with a touch of clove and vanilla, but crisp like the pine filled air at the tree farm.
